Cities organise space – the centre, the periphery, continuity, metrics – a legal, political and social order, an economic system. In the age of the Internet and GPS, space changes radically to reflect the use we make of it and its role as organiser of our relationship to the world. ­Metapolis topples the material city in a virtual world.
