It seems that Tokyo is the prettiest ugly city in the world… Florent Chavouet set out to discover Tokyo for six months, with only a bicycle, a folding fisherman’s chair, and coloured pencils. The result is a friendly and colourful mixed book which is half Tokyo guidebook, and the other half a funny collection of urban travel notes written by a young Westerner who doesn’t speak the language and who can let us discover, through flamboyant graphics this modern city full of ancient practices.
