Kaouthar and Mariam are two women whose paths are not meant to cross. They share a rare degree of lucidity and thirst for freedom. Kaouthar is Egyptian. She was twenty when the revolution broke out in Cairo. Mariam lives in Paris, the daughter of Egyptian parents who emigrated to France and she has succeeded in everything she's done. One morning, she suddenly disappears. An investigation is opened. Marion Guénard tells us the story of a youth that is sacrificed: the youth of Egyptian revolutionaries who made a breakthrough for freedom in the early 2010s.
