Parents of a Jihadist

This story is about five French and Belgian parents with very different profiles who found themselves in the same nightmare. One of their children went to Syria after having been enlisted by seasoned recruiters.  They gave in to the call of jihad, leaving their families and lives behind.
Céline Schoen went to meet the parents with the intention of focusing on them – rather than on their children.  Without judgment nor deference, but with the idea that their accounts may help our society to comprehend this new radicalization phenomenon.
