Martial, the rage of humiliation

Martial is mixed-race with brown skin. His father is Martiniquan. He is gay and sometimes hooks up with wealthy white men for the money and the dream. In 1992, at the age of 24, he discovers he has contracted the AIDS virus. I had only just met him. He died in 2010, at the age of 42. According to the doctors, he died of AIDS. But is that a sufficient explanation? Aside from his appeal, cheerful or pensive, he seemed to possess a rage and desire to kill. Ordinary bonds ceased to exist. An odious or insecure character, an immature individual, a schizophrenic were all terms used. He referred to himself as a “social reject”.
