Hizya

Hizya, the narrator, is a young woman like any another – very much like any other. An Algerian, from Algiers, a university degree in her pocket, the only work she has been able to find is at a hairdresser’s... happy enough that her family is letting her work! It’s impossible for Hizya to throw off this yoke, even though an inner voice is constantly urging her to revolt. Revolt?
