From war to peace in the Mediterranean

Boris Cyrulnik and Boualem Sansal revisit the periods of upheaval which stretched from the Ottoman hegemony over Eastern Europe to the conquest of the Arab Kingdom of Granada by the Spanish, from the discovery of ocean routes to the Americas to the modern era and colonial ambitions. They broach the tensions between Christianity, defended by the Spanish, and expansionist Ottoman Islam, which endures to this day through the many historical falsifications, which do not favour a reconciliation.
