Waterfront

The "Waterfront" series, by Andre Merian, focuses on ports in the Mediterranean basin. Seven large ports are represented: Marseille, Valencia, Alexandria, Genoa, Izmir, Beirut and Tangier. When comparing these Mediterranean cities, it is fascinating to see that they all developed in the same way. Their evolution is similar, particularly in terms of the redevelopment around the ports, which have transformed the twin cities into new territories.
