Initially a photojournalist, Jean Rey has been a television camera man, criss-crossing the world without necessarily abandoning photography. In the guise of a travel journal mixing the private with the professional, Back to the Pictures is first of all a reporter’s stories from the last four decades. But it is also an out of the ordinary first hand account, a very personal opinion on the occupation of a reporter and its irreversible evolution.
