It's the 1970s, Saint-Nazaire, France. Julien Costa has three things on his mind: soccer (©Panini trading cards), dancing, and Casimir, the orange dino from a popular TV show of the time! Julien divides his time between school and his friends, Nadia and Pierre, until the day he learns that his parents are getting a divorce. His life is turned upside down, he has to move, and sees little of his father who is on the construction crew building the Saint-Nazaire Bridge. They talk on the phone, but the boy misses his "hero." Julien finds a way to keep in touch: words. The letters they exchange become their way of saying I love you. They tell each other what's going on in their lives, each on his own and far from the other. Words are a bridge.
