Manouchian: Testimony, followed by Poems, Letters, and Unpublished Documents

On February 21, 1944, twenty-two members of a communist resistance movement, the Francs-tireurs and Partisans—Immigrant Workforce (FTP-MOI), were executed on Mont-Valérien. Among them, twenty were foreigners, including eleven Jews. From 1941 to 1943, the group, led by Missak Manouchian, had distinguished themselves through outstanding acts of resistance. The testimony of Missak's comrade and partner, Mélinée Manouchian, is invaluable. It is accompanied by a collection of documents, for the most part previously unpublished.
