This volume represents the fruition of an extensive artistic journey alongside a prominent Manouche traveler family spread across the heartlands of central and western France. Over the course of four years, photographer Georges Pacheco and writer Estelle Granet traversed five départements tracing the lineage of a storied duo, Émile Duville, known as "Didi," and his spouse Eugénie, affectionately termed "Canette."
