Liu Chan and the sacred carp

On a day when it was raining heavily, the mischievous fishmonger Liu Chan leaves a carp in a tree trunk full of water. But he is far from realizing the impact of this little joke ! The villagers believe in divine intervention and decide to build a place of worship then organise a pilgrimage... On his return, Liu Chan has trouble recognising the area. His incredulity is even taken as a great offence towards the "sacred carp"...
