The Same Sun

The famous New wave director of photography, Raoul Coutard learned his art within the French army. On the periphery of the required reports of military operations, he accompanies ethnologists on their expeditions to remote areas. Using hitherto rare colour film, he depicts the ethnic diversity of Cambodia, of Laos, Thailand or Vietnam, countries previously unknown to Westerners.
