Racing the Waves

Summer 2015. Sophia, a literature teacher, leaves Paris behind. In the quiet of a seaside town, solitude begins to take hold. With a husband drifting away and a life she no longer recognizes, she slowly starts to fade from view—until she meets Amel, one of her students, who sees in her a source of support… and perhaps more.
Neither woman yet knows that in this town, rumors rise and break like waves—unpredictable, and capable of sweeping everything away.
