Impasse des Lilas

A rebellious teacher, Iris has quit her job and broke up with her partner. She hopes to find refuge in her unoccupied family home, but Impasse des Lilas harbors many secrets. Three voices weave in and out of the narrative: those of the teenager Bruno; Amandine, a girl who is struggling at school; and Iris, who becomes involved in her neighbors' lives. Their perspectives come to shed light on the enigmas of the cul-de-sac. This is a story about a neighborhood, but also about education, identity, and relationships.
