Strawberry Ladies, Fairy Fingers

A graphic adaptation of researcher Chadia Arab's investigation into the lives of thousands of Moroccan women who travel each year to work in the strawberry fields of southern Spain. Through long days spent in stifling greenhouses—where the pace of work never slows and bodies are worn down by heat and pesticides—they endure humiliation and abuse from employers. Yet, amid the hardship, they also discover mutual support and solidarity.
