From Below, We Are Invisible

In 2011, photographer Zenzel discovered young freerunners navigating the Parisian skyline, existing in a world aloft from the streets. He followed them over rooftops and ledges, to the city's unimagined heights, capturing their stories through his lens. Zenzel's work probes the essence of freedom, identity, and the fine lines between boundaries and peril. The fruit of nine years of photographic endeavor, this volume sheds light on these urban acrobats as they defy time, redefine space, and invite us to gaze more broadly, mapping a city rediscovered.
