Like a Puff of Dust

In the ocean that is the Sahara, in the dunes of the Sahel, on the Niger River or in the Ténéré, the Mossi, Haoussa, Peuls and Tuaregs travel, fish, fight, wait, search for gold, tan hides, celebrate births, hunt the souls of the dead and attempt to escape from the dust. The photographic narrative of Franck Pourcel makes us share the destiny of these people confronting the fragility of their daily lives.
