This booklet is the first of a series of twelve, which invites us to discover A’s voyages, his physical journey through his wanderings, his drifts, his tense advances and his encounters.
They were published over the five following years, in a sustained rhythmicity. This booklet is similar to a leporello, unfolding into a display of images, an unvoiced presence, an unfolding of situations and a suspension in time. Although, the images are grouped within sequential plans, it is not a chronology, here New York 1989-1993 is, every time a different mood, a different atmosphere, a climate which is given through an intermingling of images, a confronting mixture of pictures which together create a tension and discharge a force which demand entry into the emanating desire and energy for life.
