In the Shadow of Avenue Victor-Hugo

In April 1961, the French Republic tottered. Military supporters of French Algeria overthrew the government, and General de Gaulle was removed from office. In a world marked by repression, Michel befriends his neighbor, the son of a filmmaker. His father is shooting a film, The Little Drummer of Arcole, which opens Michel's eyes to a new world.
