The white hour

A town that is hard to identify marked by a white sky at an uncertain hour, the almost empty photograph of Anne Collongues is like a familiar place still imbued with memories but which already seems unfamiliar. Her images do not reveal anything in particular, but every element of the urban chaos helps balance out the composition. Olivier Rolin accompanies them with a literary wandering in the quest of the town’s identity which is finally revealed: Tel Aviv, unveiled by the vacuousness of the sky.
