The Town, Living Matter

The L'AUC architectural group's work, which is both creative and consistent with what is happening now as regards the social and environmental challenges surrounding our urbanisation, earned this agency the 2021 Grand Prix de l'Urbanisme award for town planning. This book concentrates on its particular approach: reinventing damaged regions; dreaming up urban forms that reconcile density with quality, and offering new "communal areas" (e.g. exploring the potential offered by ground floor areas).
