L’île de Ré and La Rochelle are the setting. Centred around the bookbinding workshop, Costa, an ever present figure at Jean's side, is submerged in an obsessive search to recover his memory. In Cyprus or in the streets of Athens, names from the past are a reminder of pain and buried struggles. Weapons, diplomats, assassination attempts... This breathless account, enhanced with sepia tones, documents a story which originated nearly a century ago, reappeared during the 70s and ended in a Caucasian capital in the shadow of a symbolic mountain. To say one's name, is always the way find one's roots.
