Table salt, toothpaste, household appliances: nanomaterials are everywhere in our daily lives. Yet little is known about their impact on health and the environment, and very worrying harmful effects have already been highlighted. However, there is no reliable traceability or labelling and no real restrictions have been put in place to date by the public authorities.
