Listening to Saint Bernard

Saint Bernard, one of the great Doctors of Cîteaux, is a difficult author, but he attracts, because he speaks of realities that are at the heart of the existence of any Christian with a certain accent of humanity which makes men close of all time. If one wants to deal effectively with St. Bernard, he should read it slowly (lectio divina) as a progressive order, from easiest to most difficult, or consolidate the Treaties.
