Everyday Morocco

Joseph Marando is Moroccan on his mother's side. Since 1987, he has pursued is maternal roots, accompanied by a black and white camera. The result, exposed in this book, exceeds the usual search for roots. Beside his past, the photographer explores a Morocco far from the usual shots of well known souks and medinas : a Morocco seen through everyday eyes. This little known side of Morocco is evoked with portraits and scenes from daily life.
